What OWS is built for
OWS was developed to support practical options trading workflows. Whether it is the current VIX term structure curve or a stock scanner for the In the money (ITM) Covered Call strategy, the goal is to reduce friction and make the work easier.
It also includes a 0DTE automated trader that can launch trades with predefined criteria including S/L. This can be tested without limit in both demo and live accounts.
Important condition
The tool only works with an active TWS (Trader Workstation), and the API must be enabled. Otherwise OWS cannot pull the required market data or send trading actions.
IB Statement Helper
The only feature that works independently of TWS is the IB Statement Helper. It converts the long report CSV into a compact summary with the relevant performance data and even a suggested structure for tax filing.
This is provided strictly without guarantee and should be used with great caution.
